The upper and lower door hinges must be on the same vertical line. The glass door must use a steel frame with a horizontal beam, and the upper hinge must be welded to the beam. The upper hinge is the support point for the entire glass door and must be secure. It is forbidden to use a thin wooden board or keel structure for the upper beam, as the connection between the upper hinge and the wooden structure can only be secured with self-tapping screws. Due to frequent opening and closing, the upper hinge is prone to detachment over time, causing a hazard.
When pre-installing the floor spring, a rectangular pit should be chiseled in the original ground, with the perimeter 10 mm larger than the floor spring base. High-grade cement mortar should be filled in to ensure a firm fit. It is recommended to install the glass door 48 hours after the floor spring cement has hardened. After installation, the edge of the glass door should be 8-12 mm from the ground to prevent the glass door from rubbing against the floor when it droops.
The upper and lower door hinges of the spring door should be centered in the door frame so that the glass door also sits in the center of the frame after installation, for an aesthetically pleasing effect. Another detail to note is that grease should be applied to the hinge and door clamp areas to reduce wear on the connectors and extend their lifespan.
